We've all imagined it at one time or another, and now scientists are close to realising our dream of becoming invisible.
They have started testing an ultra-thin invisibility cloak that's made from 'microscopic rectangular gold blocks that can conform to your shape like skin, and make you undetectable with visible light.
The cloak which is 80 nanometres thick has been tested with tiny objects, but could be adapted for larger things.
It works by rerouting light waves scattered from the object, to make it invisible.
The cloak could be available in five or ten years, and is being developed by the US Department of Energy.
Just like Harry Potter.
