A 'secret list' has emerged that helps you dig deeper for those not so recent movies by simply changing the numerical code on the end of the ‘genre’ URL.
According to gizmodo.com your URL should look like this www.netflix.com/browse/genre/6839
By changing the last four digit number at the end of URL, to any of them that are on the unofficial list that can be seen here, you will be able to discover some obscure movies you may never have been able to come across before.
