The Big Ride Home with Dara Quilty and the 98FM Thunders will be live from Harvey Norman in Tallaght today collecting money for their Making Homes campaign.
This month, Harvey Norman is planning to raise a whopping €170,000 for Peter McVerry Trust and their campaign aims to fit-out 20 homes and give those experiencing homelessness a place of their own.
When you buy a product from Harvey Norman's Making Homes collection this month, €5 will be donated to Peter McVerry Trust. You can also add €1 to any purchase at the checkout this month and Harvey Norman will match it.
A number of in-store events are also taking place this month including massive raffles, family activities and a blow dry bar where customers can get involved and donate in-store. You can also donate what you can online here.
Peter McVerry Trust, was set up by Fr Peter McVerry in 1983 to reduce homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage. Today, the charity offers those in need a range of assistive services including Homeless and Housing Services, Drug Treatment Services and Under 18s Residential Services.
