They're at it again!
Lidl have hilariously thrown shade at Aldi again - and this time, it's over mince pies!
The supermarket chain tweeted a picture of one of our products, calling out their German supermarket rivals.
The tweet was sparked by a customer, who posted a photo of the gluten free mince pies in question to her Instagram story tagging Aldi.
However, the coeliac-friendly Christmas favourites were actually from Lidl - awkward!
When Aldi shared the story on their own account, Lidl saw the opportunity to throw a dig.
Lidl wrote: "Hey @Aldi_Ireland we’re not sure how to say this but... these are our gluten free mince pies."

Now, Aldi have fired back with their own tweet!
Using the face palm emoji, Aldi wrote: "We should have known, ours are cheaper at €2.49, have a shiny Blas Na hÉireann award, and are handmade by the fabulous @goodnessgrains, Longford. Pick up a pack and support Irish."

Miaow!
We'll have to wait and see if Lidl responds ...
