BoxyMo.ie has launched an online game with the aim to educate young drivers in Dublin.
Starring characters such as Ed Steerin, Kelly Casdashian and Justin Beeper, players are challenged to drive on a virtual road for as long as possible picking up points along the way.
Obstacles including hazardous objects and difficult weather conditions will make the driving scenarios more realistic.
Every week the top players will be placed on a nationwide leader board hosted on Facebook with prizes up for grabs.
The BoxyMo.ie Game reminds players that the RSA considers human behaviour to be the primary cause of 90% of collisions on Irish roads, with distracted drivers contributing to more than 1,400 fatal and injury collisions each year.
The game’s focus is to help young drivers to become more aware of dangers on the roads and alter their real-life driving behaviour.
