Instagram is back working. The photo-sharing app was down earlier this afternoon.
The short outage appeared to affect thousands of users worldwide, after people attempting to refresh the app weren't able to.
The outage was first reported at 1.30pm. The hashtag #InstagramDown began trending on Twitter shortly after.
The app now appears to be back to normal. The social media giant has yet to comment on what caused the outage.
