Pay it forward
Were you one of the lucky few who nabbed an instore shopping appointment at Penneys this week?
The store is offering customers a chance to shop instore via appointment ahead of the full reopening of non-essential retail.
While shoppers are excited to fill their bags with bits, they're also being asked to pay it forward where possible.
With Penneys and other affordable non-essential stores being closed, many charities have been unable to purchase clothes and toiletries in bulk.
Here's a few organisations to consider supporting if you're in shopping this week:

They're currently accepting donations of homewares, including bedding, pillows and duvets.
Inner City Helping Homeless

Inner City Helping Homeless take clothes donations year round and support homeless people with clothes orders.
In 2019, the charity filled out 1,249 clothes orders for people in need of our support.
