Finally there's a wedding cake for the more savoury palate.
Sheridan's Cheesemongers on South Anne Street has created a series of wedding cheesecakes for a couple that's more likely to end their meal with a cheese plate and port. Mmmmmm.... cheese...
"This ‘cheesecake’ is later disassembled and used as an after dinner option. Others choose to serve the cheese later in the evening as finger food."
The cakes are made up of cheeses like Gubbeen, Durrus, Crozier Blue, Killeen Goat and Cashel Blue.
Does it cause rows? Do people fall out over such radical breaks with tradition?
Could it be dangerous to stand next to a stinky cheese cake? If you're a bride, you wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong impression ya know?
So many questions but snfrraackrrrraaaaaghjlghggghh ...can't talk... eating cheese.
