Stillorgan-born Merle O'Grady's designs have been worn by everyone from Cheryl Tweedy to Aobhin Garrigahy, from Rihanna to Beyoncé.
Queen Bey bought these beauties with her own shekels while shopping with Jay Z in Dublin.
She says she loves creating 'icebreaker jewellery'. We reckon the subtext here is that neither your ma nor the fellas will be able to resist passing comment on these big and bold designs.
After a stint curating a web site of edgy jewellery like LA's Vant Jag, Merle took time out from full-time designing when her daughter was born.

Now the Stillorgan-born designer is back creating her own original pieces. They're all made in her southside studio and you can check the full range here.
For those of us that prefer to see jewellery in-store rather than hit 'add-to-cart', Merle's earrings and pendants are also sold in MoMuse in the Powerscourt Town Centre.
