Airbnb has launched a new service - the Trips platform which adds experiences to the homes available for booking.
Dublin Experiences allows people to see Dublin through the eyes of the locals.
Dublin is one of the first cities to offer Trips on the Airbnb platform.
Airbnb’s Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Mildenhall made the announcement at Oscailte, the company’s annual gathering of Irish hosts at the Airbnb Dublin office on Hanover Quay.
Experiences start from €23 per person and includes a food styling workshop, exploring the Liberties by day and gaining insider access into the folk music scene in Dublin.
According to Jonathan Mildenhall, Airbnb CMO, “We want to make travel magical again by immersing curious visitors in local communities and offering them the opportunity to see the true character of a city through the eyes of the people who live there. Experiences are also a great way for locals to meet new people, learn a new skill or see their own cities with a fresh pair of eyes.”
