Mother's Day
Yes, it's Mother's Day this Sunday, 22nd March.
If you've forgotten don't worry, there has been a LOT going on and we have you covered!
While most people's plans are probably scrapped by now here are some safe ways you can celebrate:
Meet for a walk
While Dublin City Council is asking people to stay away from playgrounds, parks are still open to the public.
Once you're maintaining a safe social distance from others, a Mother's Day walk could be a lovely way to spend some quality time together.
A meaningful phone call
There is a lot to be said for a phone call!
And with lots of families separated at the moment a good long catch up will do everyone good.
Bake a cake
If you ingredients at home you can make a cake without even leaving the house.
It doesn't have to be anything too complicated!
Social distancing catch up
Not how we imagined celebrating Mother's Day, but if you have a relative who is self-isolating you could take inspiration from this Dublin family:
A virtual catch up
Whether you're in another country or just down the road why not choose a movie, video call your mother and both watch it together.
You could even get in the same goodies!
Happy Mother's Day!
