If you're a fan of a selfie, the X Pro II filter or a #bblogger you will be happy to hear the 2016 Huawei Snapys have been launched.
Considering Ireland's Instagram obsession (more of us use it per head than in America or the UK), it will come as no surprise that the awards are returning for a second year. Last year, there were more than 38,000 entries.
The technology company is looking for Instagram fans to enter in a number of categories like Dublin, Pets and Beauty. There are 16 categories to choose from with over €10,000 in prizes.
The Huawei Snapys overall winner will then go through to the ultimate assignment in Shenzhen China in January 2017. The winner along with the winners of the other 10 European countries will be sent on an all expenses trip to Shenzhen to capture nine images over 1 week coached by 4 mentors.
This year's winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in the Mansion House in November. To enter simply upload your image using #huaweisnapys and # yourcategory.
The Snapys were founded by Irishman Conor Lynch and his team of Instagrammers, and has been so succesful it is now being exported to countries around the world.
