Temperatures in Ireland could hit 17 degrees today in parts. According to Met Eireann, Monday will be very mild and dry with hazy sunshine.
The forecaster says: "Dry and spring-like today with spells of hazy sunshine breaking through after a misty start. Very mild, with highs of 12 to 17 degrees Celsius, possibly a little higher locally.
"It will be mildest in sunshine, and away from southern and eastern coasts, where mist/fog may linger and onshore breezes will persist. Southeasterly breezes will be fresh to strong along Atlantic coasts, but mainly moderate elsewhere."
In Dublin, it will be dry with sunny spells today with highs of 12 to 16 degrees.
Tonight is expected to be dry and clear but rather cold with lows of 1 to 4 degrees with mist and fog patches and some frost.
Tuesday will be dry and sunny once mist and fog clears. Tuesday will be another mild February day with highs of 11 to 16 degrees.
More changeable and unsettled weather is forecast toward the end of the week.
