Each year, it gets harder and harder to come up with an inventive Halloween costume.
You don't want to go as a regular witch or a pumpkin and there will be at least fifty other people dressing up as superheroes and cats.
So what're your options?
Luckily, 2018 was jam-packed with viral moments and trends that, with a bit of creativity, make the perfect Halloween outfit.
Here are ten ideas to get you started:
The Floss Dance
This dance craze was absolutely everywhere in 2018. The good news is, it's pretty easy to recreate. All you'll need is come cheap packets of dental floss and stick them onto a plain white or black outfit. Make sure you perfect the dance because you'll be inevitably asked to perform it.
Storm Emma
The country went into shutdown for two days so it's only fitting to pay tribute to the beast that was Storm Emma. If you're name is Emma, you're in luck. Just add some snowflakes, a couple of loaves of Brennan's bread and you're sorted.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z
If you're part of a couple, then this is a handy one to recreate. Beg or borrow a pink and green pant suit, add a few accessories and you're good to go. Plus, you'll definitely wear the pant suit another time.
Lidl Fortunestown
Who can forget the story of Lidl Fortunestown during the Beast from the East? Take inspiration for your Halloween costume from these guys who dressed up for a St Patrick's Day parade in Galway:

A Krispy Kreme Donut
There are still queues for the new store in Blanchardstown so dressing up as a Krispy Kreme donut is genius. You can buy a green apron and pick up a hat in store and go as a worker or if you're a little craftier, you can go as an actual donut with some cardboard and basic paints. Bonus points if you can get a queue of your mates to stand behind you all night.

Spice Bag Tayto
Tayto answered all of our prayers this year when they created a spice bag flavour. All you need for the Mr Tayto costume is a white shirt, blue tie, red jacket and a black hat. Get your hands on some yellow body paint too to complete the look but a word of warning - you'll be scrubbing it off for days.

Kanye & Lil Pump
Kanye and Lil Pump's music video for 'I Love It' made headlines for the bizzare sumo-like costumes. If you have time to spare and can get your hands on a couple of cardboard boxes then you can create your own version at home.
The Pope
The city shut down for a weekend as we welcomed Pope Francis to places like Croke Park and the Phoenix Park. Luckily, you can get a pope costume pretty handy online but don't expect the city to shut down for you on Halloween night.
The Heatwave
It'd be rude not to remember the Great Summer of 2018. Don your flip flops, sunglasses and shorts to the Halloween party and bring along props like 99s and a hosepipe. Maybe leave the Speedos at home though, nobody needs to see that.
Ever wondered what happens when you ring the Hosepipe Hotline to report your neighbours? #heatwave🌞#98fmBigBreakfast pic.twitter.com/qr3TodaAgl

Royal Wedding
Grab your ginger friends and get them on board with a Royal Wedding costume. All you need is a sharp suit, a white dress and a makeshift veil. The horse and cart might prove slightly trickier.
