Lewis Capaldi is getting vulnerable with fans for the first time.
Last week the Scottish singer announced he made a documentary with Netflix called How I'm Feeling Now.
The preview follows Lewis's rise to fame and the process behind making is his next album, as well as his struggles with mental health and Tourette syndrome.
He admitted when sharing the trailer on social media during the week that he was "extremely hesitant" to make the documentary.
"I think because I seem quite open about a lot of things whether it be in interviews, on stage or social media people assume they know a lot about me and my life but in actual fact I tend to keep a lot of things to myself as a matter of preference," Capaldi wrote. "Now that this film, two and a half years in the making, is finally coming out I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wildly nervous."
Despite feeling "nervous," Capaldi told fans he's "really looking forward to sharing it with the world."
absolutely bricking it to show you the trailer for my @netflix documentary 'How I'm Feeling Now'
has been a weird 2 and a half years for me and it's all been captured in this film ❤️… the most emotional film about an overweight guy since The Whale xpic.twitter.com/DytQ4ozfON

The trailer debuted shortly before the release of his latest song, also titled "How I'm Feeling Now," which is the last song he wrote for an upcoming album. He described the track as "a tune that's all about something I've never really written about in my music before which is my mental health."
Capaldi went on to say he recognises how lucky he is and how he has so many people in his life to thank for where he is now. But he'd be lying if the whole experience hadn't taken a toll on him mentally.
At the end of the post however Capaldi wrote that in spite of all his fears, he's "extremely proud" of the documentary and the team behind it.
"Seriously been one of the most amazing and extremely peculiar experiences of my life" he wrote.
How I'm Feeling Now is set to be released on Netflix on the 5th of April.
