Anyone in the city centre for some last-minute Christmas shopping is being reminded public transport finishes up much earlier than normal tonight.
The last services on high-frequency Dublin Bus routes leave at 9pm, with other routes finishing as early as 8pm.
Luas trams will also stop running at eight o'clock, while Irish Rail trains will only run until nine o'clock.
The last intercity trains will leave the capital between 6pm and 9pm this evening.
Passengers are being advised to check their timetables, as many may not serve intermediate stops.
Most Bus Éireann coaches will run to their normal timetables until 9pm this evening, with a small number of departures after that.
No trains, buses or trams will run again until St Stephen's Day.
