The landlord of a Dublin apartment block has been found to be using the building for unauthorised holiday letting.
The landlord of Reuben House had evicted his tenants claiming he was selling up but the property was then advertised on Airbnb.
Reuben House is a six storey building on Reuben Street, close to the Coombe hospital .
Up to 45 people were living in apartments there when they were issued with notices of termination last August according to the Irish Times.
They were told there was an intention to sell the property.
However the rooms were then advertised on Airbnb as hostel style accomodation.
Dublin City Council has now issued an enforcement notice ordering that the short term letting stops by April the 28th.
Meanwhile the landlord has asked to change the use of the House to an aparthotel.
