There are calls for teachers in the city to be paid more.
Labour says they should get an allowance for living in Dublin as it's more expensive .
The scheme would cost around 21 million euro
Labour's Education Spokesperson Aodhan O'Riordain says it's already in place in London.
He said: ''The cost of living in other parts of the country is cheaper - the cost of a mortgage, rent and accommodation is sizably cheaper. If there is another way of keeping teachers in Dublin other than a Dublin allowance, I would love to hear it. But we are at a crisis level now so we have to look at what happens internationally.''
