This year's Kevin the Carrot ad has been launched by Aldi.
The festive piece is one of the most anticipated Christmas ads in recent years.
Dubliner Colm Meaney plays Santa Claus in the ad, he was delighted to be involved with the advert:

It turns out Kevin has Irish connections as well.
New characters also include Harry the Hedgehog.
