Former two-time NBA finals MVP Kevin Durant has confirmed that he's among four Brooklyn Nets players to have tested positive for COVID-19.

The club didn't reveal the names of the players when announcing the news but Durant has revealed that he's feeling fine and not showing any symptoms - despite catching the virus.

"Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine, we're going to get through this,"he told The Athletic.

The Nets say only one of the four players affected has shown symptoms and that the entire squad are now self-isolating:

"All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians.

"The organisation is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting.

"All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff.

"The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organisation and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible."

Seven NBA players have now contracted the coronavirus and the LA Lakers, who played the Nets before the league was suspended, say they'll be closely monitoring their players in the coming days.
