Katie Taylor beat Brazilian Rosé Volante to add a WBO strap to her WBA and IBF titles in what's being called the most physical contest of her career.
The title makes her the first Irish fighter ever to hold three of the four major belts in modern boxing competition.
Volante started strong in the early rounds despite being downed for a count of seven in the second.
But Taylor took control in the fourth and fifth, landing heavy, clinical shots.
A gash on Volante's nose opened up in the ninth, but by then it was all over.
Katie took all nine rounds on points.
