Julian Benson is on a mission to raise money to help those living with Cystic Fibrosis.
The TV personality and star agent, who lives with the condition, set up a charity last year to help others in his situation.
Now, The Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is being offered a leg up in its efforts.
It has been named the charity of choice for this year's International Ladies Polo Day.
Money raised at the event at Phoenix Park on September 5th will go directly to the foundation.
The polo will see national, international players and celebrities take part in matches throughout the day.
There will also be two celebrity matches, where friends of The Julian Benson Foundation will take part in 15-minute ‘chukkas’.
The Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is hoping to buy a house close to St. Vincent's Hospital.
It would be used to put up families visiting people with the condition who have to endure long hospital stays.
The charity also has hopes of building a retreat centre outside of the city.
The foundation is now taking donations by text.
Donors can text “BUILD” to 50300 to donate towards the project.
Julian Benson said "I’ve experienced first-hand the difficulties faced by people who battle Cystic Fibrosis and I’m determined to do what I can to help provide some comfort and support when it is most needed."
"Our BUILD Campaign and events like this provide much needed funds and bring us closer to achieving our goals".
Tickets for the International Ladies Polo Day cost €1,950 for a table of 10 or €200 each and can be purchased here.
