He’s missing out!
Jamie Oliver has revealed that he can’t watch an Emmy-winning show about chefs working in a restaurant because he isn’t convinced by their culinary skills.
It's been recommended to him many times that he watch The Bear, which follows the journey of a classically trained Michelin chef who returns to Chicago to take over the running of his late brother’s sandwich shop.
The FX drama has achieved huge critical acclaim and leading man Jeremy Allen White has received lots of praise for his portrayal of the troubled but talented chef Carmy.
There’s one person he isn’t convincing though and that’s Jamie Oliver.
The 48 year old appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show last week and admitted that he couldn’t watch the show because it “winds him up” to watch the actors not cook properly.
“I’ve got to get back into The Bear because I watched the first two [episodes] – and I know it’s brilliant, everyone keeps telling me how brilliant it is – but I watched the first two and I’m like, 'He can’t chop'.”
Can’t disconnect god love him!
