A murder investigation is continuing this morning, after the discovery of a man's body in Dublin city.
The pensioner was discovered dead at a flat complex for elderly people in Robinson's Court on Cork Street yesterday.
A post mortem will be carried out today on his remains at the city morgue.
Sinn Fein Councillor Maire Devine says residents are very proud of their complex.
She said his neighbours described the man as "friendly, affable and quiet".
"There was never any trouble whatsoever", she said.
