Waterford manager Liam Cahill names his team for All Ireland semi

Waterford manager Liam Cahill has revealed his side for Saturday's All Ireland hurling semi-final with Limerick.

His XV is unchanged from the side that claimed Tipperary's scalp for the first time in thirteen years last week, in their quarter-final win.

Cahill's Limerick counterpart John Kiely made two slight changes in naming his team on Thursday night.

Aaron Gillane and Dan Morrissey come in for Graeme Mulcahy and Richie English as they did in the first half of their Munster final win over Tipperary.

The Waterford side includes eleven of the XV that started last year's All Ireland final defeat to Limerick at Croke Park.

Goalkeeper Shaun O'Brien, Shane Bennett, midfielder Peter Horgan, and Patrick Curran are the quartet who didn't start December's loss.

Former Deise star Eoin Kelly has fears over Waterford's fitness this weekend, calling their fourth outing in as many weeks "madness".

"I think Waterford will find it very hard to go to the well again on Saturday," Kelly told WLR Sport, "They're talking about player welfare - to make a team go out four weekends in a row is madness.

"Why could they not give a break to Waterford and Cork? Give a week's break and play the match the following week and everyone would be happy.

"What's the big rush like? That's my one concern going into Saturday. They're just flogging players.

"I think if Waterford did have a week's break - they could take Limerick."
