Several hundred people protested outside Dublin's City Hall last night calling for a new transport plan to be implemented as agreed and on time.
The Irish Heart Foundation, Irish Doctors for the Environment, commuter organisations and cycling groups were among those demonstrating.

It comes as the head of Dublin Bus Billy Hann urges city council management not to water down the changes that include bus gates along the quays at Bachelors Walk and Aston Quay.
The measures were due to be introduced in August to tackle congestion but after consulting disability groups the restrictions will only be in place from 7am to 7pm instead of 24 hours a day.
While management says its waiting for an economic impact report from businesses before deciding whether to push out the start date. Traders, including car park owners, have asked for the plan to delayed until March or April.
