More than 220 people are dead and dozens are missing after a tsunami hit part of Indonesia.
The wave was caused by a volcano, and swept away homes on the Sunda Strait.
Journalist James Massola is in the area and he says people simply didn't know it was coming.
It's 14 years - almost to the day - since the same region was devastated by the St. Stephen's Day tsunami.
Members of a band that were performing on a beach at the time the waves hit were swept away - the bass player is understood to be dead, with at least one other member of the band and two members of their entourage missing.
President Joko Widodo is warning the number of dead will "surely rise."
