One of the most classic Christmas movies is getting a sequel!
'Grinch 2' is in the works, with Jim Carrey set to reprise his role as the wretched Grinch.
The original 2000 film was directed by Ron Howard and followed the lives of the Whos of Whoville who have a Christmas-hating recluse trying to ruin their festive fun.
Now, 23 years after the original, the entertainment news site Giant Freakin Robot is reporting that a sequel is on its way and Jim Carrey is signed on.
"Jim Carrey is returning to Universal Pictures for The Grinch 2, once again playing Dr. Seuss's most famous and ill-tempered creation." the publication wrote.
Now we're still waiting on confirmation from the man himself and it's been noted in the past that the comic actor isn't a fan of sequels.
"I find sequels are a function of commerce for the most part", Jim Carrey said in an interview with CinemaBlend back in 2017.
Could he have changed his mind? We'll have to wait and see!
