Gardaí have entered a vacant property in Dublin this morning where 40 to 50 homeless people were residing.
Last week, a court injunction was placed on occupants of the derelict Parkgate House near Heuston Station.
Some of the occupiers, called the 'Revolutionary Housing League', will appear before the High Court today.
One of the dwellers, Patrick, believes vacant properties should be used to house the homeless.
"This is the exact type of property speculation that's happening all across Ireland.
"There's over 180,000 vacant properties across the country and frankly, it's just not working for people.
"The housing crisis is getting worse and there needs to be action taken."
Videos appeared online appearing to show Gardai at the property early this morning and officers have confirmed an operation was put in place to execute a High Court order.
There's been no word on how many people were arrested with further details expecting following this morning's court case.
