Dublin is now included in the updated warning.
It followed a number of days of sunshine with a record high temperature for August recorded.
However, Emer Flood from Met Eireann says that's now officially over:
"There will be some sunshine at times this week but definitely yesterday marked the end of the hot weather."
"You're looking at temperatures in the high teens for the rest of the week, maybe in the low 20s locally at times but definitely a much cooler and fresher week."
