Ireland remains in 16th place in the annual World Happiness Report for the second year in a row.
Finland tops the list and is the happiest country in the world.
That's followed by Denmark and Switzerland.
The report looks at factors including GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social supports and freedom.
Afghanistan was named the unhappiest place in the world, followed by South Sudan and Zimbabwe.
