Rejoice!
Griolladh - a favourite for cheese toasties in Dublin - has opened its first bricks-and-mortar café in Dublin 8.
The new Thomas Street café will be serving up the sambos you know and love, as well as breakfast, baked goods, sausage rolls, hot drinks and indulgent treats, under head chef Alison Tierney.
The opening comes just 18 months after founders Jacob Long and Jack Brennan launched their lockdown-inspired concept of serving up sensational gourmet hot sandwiches.
Griolladh now boasts four locations across the capital, with food trucks in Malahide at New Street, at Dundrum Town Centre and on Grand Canal Street.
“This café and kitchen is going to change everything for us," Long and Brennan said on the announcement.
“We’re already really passionate about our ingredients, provenance and quality, but we now have the space get even more inventive!
"And we are delighted to be based in The Liberties - an historical and thriving community! We feel very much at home!”
