A large section of the green Luas line won't re-open until tomorrow morning.
No trams have been running between Balally and Brides Glen since yesterday evening, because of a power fault.
Engineers have now identified the source of the problem, in the Stillorgan area.
Transdev, the company that runs Luas, has apologised for the inconvenience.
Teams are now working to get the line back up and running, with services due to resume at first tram Sunday.
A valid Luas ticket or Leapcard will be accepted on Dublin Bus services this evening and tonight.
