Works have begun to fix one of Dublin's major sewers which partially collapsed last summer.
The 75 metre section of pipeline runs under the Grand Canal, the Red Luas line and Suir Road in Dublin 8.
Irish Water says the repair works "are essential to protect the environment... and minimise the risk of further collapse".
The works are expected to be completed by May 2020.
Minimal disruption is expected in the area during the repair and upgrade.
Olive Marshall from Irish Water described it as a "complex project".
He said they have worked hard "to develop an appropriate solution that will allow us to ensure the wastewater network continues to work effectively, while protecting the waterway".
