Staff at An Post's HQ at the GPO could be moved to new offices at Clerys.
It's one of a number of locations being considered by the company.
An Post is currently looking at whether to move its headquarters from the GPO on either a temporary or permanent basis.
The current office space at the famous O'Connell Street building is in need of extensive repairs, including plumbing and rewiring.
One of the options being considered is the nearby Clerys Quarter, the former department store is currently undergoing redevelopment. The plan includes offices, shops, a hotel and rooftop restaurant.
According to the Irish Times, the docklands, the Exo Building at Point Village and offices at Dublin Airport are among a number of locations also being considered by An Post.
The company plans to move its 900 staff by the end of next year.
Regardless of where staff are moved to the post office and Witness History Museum will remain at the GPO.
