Gardaí are investigating an assault in Dublin city centre this morning.
A man in his 30s was injured during the incident that took place outside the Spar on Upper O'Connell Street around 1am.
He was taken to The Mater Hospital for treatment.
The area has been cordoned off, and investigations are ongoing.
