It happened at around 10pm on Friday night.
Gardaí say they are carrying out a criminal investigation into an arson attack last night.
Emergency services responded to a blaze at a house on Cashel Road in Crumlin, D12.
There were no injuries as the house was supposed to be vacant at the time.

No arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
The Independent report it could be linked to an escalating feud between gang members.
There have been several incidents of crime in recent weeks in the area.
