There are calls for Gardai to stop the public drinking on beaches.
It comes after Gardaí were called to the scene of a brawl that broke out at Burrow Beach yesterday.
Dublin-Fingal Cllr Brian McDonagh says this isn't new for Sutton residents who live nearby.
He says bye-laws against the public consumption of alcohol need to be enforced.
Gardaí were called to the scene in Sutton and remained on site until the large public disturbance was cleared.
No arrests were made and patrols in the area are continuing over the Summer.
Gardaí in Raheny are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident to contact them at Raheny Garda Station on 01 666 4300, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
