Gardai are appealing for information after a serious assault on a man in Dublin.
It happened on last Friday in Temple Bar.
The 44 year old man suffered life threatening injuries in the attack, which took place at Prices Lane in Temple Bar at around 10:25pm.
He's currently being treated at St. James Hospital.
After the attack, the suspect made his way onto Aston Quay near Bedford Row, where he removed items of clothing and appears to have laid down on the street.
Gardai say his behaviour attracted attention and they understand the man may have been recorded on mobile phones.
As a result, they are appealing to anyone who has mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.
They have also appealed to drivers who may have dash cam footage to contact Pearse St Garda Station.
