Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has information on a collision in Dublin last week, in which an elderly woman died, to come forward.
Officers are particularly interested in the activity of a small red hatchback Ford Focus in the area of Cheeverstown Road and the N81in Tallaght last Friday morning, between 10.30 and 11.30.
An 84-year old woman, who was a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man has appeared before the Tallaght District Court charged in relation to this investigation.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact Gardaí.

A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí in Tallaght continue to investigate the circumstances of a Fatal Road Traffic Collision at the junction of Fortunestown Way and Cheeverstown Road (R136) shortly before 11:00am on Friday, 8th September.
"A male has appeared before the District Court charged in relation to this investigation.
"Investigating Gardaí are appealing to any person with information on the activity of a small red hatchback Ford Focus in the area of Cheeverstown Road /N81/ Tallaght, between the hours of 10.30am-11.30am on the 8th September 2023 to contact them."They are also appealing to any road users or pedestrians who might possess camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, and who were traveling along Fortunestown Way or Cheeverstown Road between 10:30am and 11:15am on the 8th of September.
