A garda motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a two vehicle collision in Drumcondra this morning.
A car and and an official Garda motorcycle collided at the junction of Dargle Road and Drumcondra Road Lower just before 10 am.
The garda, aged in his 30s, was taken to the Mater Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for a technical examination and has since reopened.
Gardaí in Mountjoy are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage to come forward.
