The funeral of murdered gunman Tristan Sherry will take place in Dublin today, more than three weeks after his death.
The 26 year-old father of one entered Browne's Steakhouse in Blanchardstown on Christmas Eve and opened fire on a group of diners.
Mr Sherry was overpowered and fatally injured in the ensuing altercation.
Another man, Jason Hennessy Snr, was fatally wounded in the shooting. He died from his injuries in the Mater Hospital on January 4th.
Three people have been charged with the murder of Tristan Sherry and a strong garda presence is expected at the funeral over fears of reprisal attacks.
Tristan Sherry will be laid to rest following funeral mass at St. Canice's Church in Finglas.
