A status yellow fog warning is in place for Dublin.
The nationwide alert will last until eleven o'clock this morning.

Motorists are being advised to drive with extra care and use fog lights when necessary.
Met Eireann says there's the risk of dense fog in every county.
Forecast
Once the fog clears it will be a mostly dry but cloudy day. There may be some patchy light rain or drizzle with top temperatures 9 or 10 Celsius.
According to Met Éireann unsettled weather is heading our way over the weekend. Sleet and even snow showers could feature on Sunday.
It will turn much colder for the early days of next week, with a risk of wintry showers and a risk of frost at night.
