Five Lamps has just unveiled their new campaign - the beer from 'ah here.'
We’re lucky. We’re all locals who live in a vibrant, on-the-up place that likes itself – but that’s quite happy to laugh at itself, too. It’s a place – Dublin – where we say ‘ah here’ when we spot bullshit.
It doesn’t mean we’re not entertained by it – or find it funny – but it’s still worthy of being called out. It’s just something we say – and it’s usually the start of some great stories, or some killer observation.
It’s a real Dublin trait, part of not taking ourselves too seriously. It’s even how we take each other down a peg when we’re out with mates. It’s friendly, and informal – very Dublin.
Five Lamps is a local beer that’s very proud of its Dublin root – so we know all about ‘ah here’, and we know how it’s said, when to use it, and how to use it. Sure the phrase is already on our glasses. Now we have the opportunity to make the most of it, and build some great associations between ‘ah here’ as an attitude to life, and Five Lamps as a brand.
We’re the beer from Dublin. We’re real Dublin. We know real Dublin. We’re the beer from ‘ah here’!
As part of the campaign, Five Lamps will be running a launch night on October 27th in their Brewery which is situated in The Camden on Camden Street. This night is all about having the craic with your friends over a pint of Five Lamps.
Tickets are available here.
The star of their new ad, Joe McGucken will be providing lots of laughs on the night, along with music from DJ Steve Reddy and Dublin's rising R&B stars Aby Coulibaly and Monjola. Plus, there will be a Five Lamps inspired tasting menu and a special Five Lamps tasting experience with master brewer William.
