Emergency services are dealing with a fire on the Malahide Road.

Dublin Fire Brigade says construction machinery and pallets have been set alight, and three fire engines are at the scene.

The incident is believed to be at the site of the former Crown Paints in Coolock, and the Malahide Road is closed in both directions.

Gardaí have described it as a public order incident.

Dublin Fire Brigade says: "At 1022 hours on the 15th of July, Dublin Fire Brigade received reports of a large amount of pallets and construction machinery on fire in Coolock Retail Park.

"The Malahide Road is currently closed and diversions are in place."
