Europe's most active volcano has erupted with 130 tremors recorded since 8am this morning.
Mount Etna sent a huge plume of ash into the sky causing the temporary closure of Catania Airport on Sicily's eastern coast.
Etna frequently bursts into action - but it's last major eruption was in 1992.
