Culture Minister Catherine Martin will discuss the move next week
Music festival organisers face having state funding pulled if they don't take action on sexual harrassment.
Culture minister Catherine Martin will discuss the move with the Fair Plé group next week after its Mise Fosta campaign on social media.
The campaign saw women speak out about their experiences of sexual harassment and coercion in the traditional music scene.
Cliona Sadlier from the Rape Crisis Network says linking state funding to complaints procedures has already worked in other areas.
"What we know is: Unless you have a set of standards and rules set down, the winners are always the powerful."
We are meeting with @cathmartingreen to discuss issues raised by the recent #misefosta campaign. We will also discuss our own work on equality for women in music. pic.twitter.com/ct23NaU6Ot

Cliona Sadlier says the Minister is keen to put together a system of safeguarding for the entertainment industry that's fit for purpose.
