The row over the ending of the eviction ban is escalating.
Labour will this morning table a no confidence motion in the Government
It's after the Coalition defeated a Sinn Fein motion last night.
Dublin Central TD Neasa Hourigan has been suspended from the Green Party for 15 months after voting against the Government.
Seems to be some confusion on this- the first two votes were amendments to the government's own amendment (3rd vote) to the core motion (4th). Although both had some merit (some serious issues with the second one) there's no point amending a motion you would then vote against. https://t.co/K34qmw9zbK

Wayne Stanley from the Simon Communities of Ireland says its an extremely worrying situation for many people.
''We are going to be working hard to make sure people are safe and kept safe. That's our job, we are on the front line of this. But it is going to be really difficult. As I said, it's a dark day.''
