On a recent episode of the ‘Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi’ podcast the 40 year old actress revealed why she has chose to step away from the limelight for a year.
The actress has been busy with the filming of the hit TV show ‘The English’ while also being a star in the much anticipated ’Oppenheimer’, which is set to be released on the 21st of this month!
Blunt spoke to Bozzi about the struggles of working while also trying to be there for her family saying:
"I never feel I'm doing it right. This year, I'm not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we're in the last year of single digits.”

The actress is married to actor John Krasinski and share two daughters, Hazel 9 and Violet 6.
The ‘A Quiet Place’ actress has always been a strong advocate for women striving and excelling in their careers so this break was a well thought out decision for her.
Blunt went on to speak about family life and how she is planning on bringing all her dreams together saying: "I am a huge advocate for women being ambitious, I love the word ambitions. It's just dreams with purpose. And I want my kids to grow up and find something they adore doing."
In an interview last month with Harper’s Bazaar UK Blunt hinted at the career break but also her wishes for her children not to follow in her and her husbands career footsteps saying: "My toes curl when people tell me, 'My daughter wants to be an actress.' I want to say, don't do it!"
