An investigation is underway after an elderly couple were restrained during an aggravated burglary in Terenure.
Three men gained entry to the house yesterday morning.
The aggravated burglary took place at a house in the Templeogue Road area at 10:30am yesterday morning.
Three men entered the house, retained a man and woman both aged in their 70s.
The men then left the scene in a small white van.
No serious injuries were sustained in this incident.
As a result, Gardaí are appealing for any motorists or cyclists who traveled along the Templeogue Road between the hours of 9am and 11:30am who may have dash-cam footage to contact Terenure Garda Station.
